I always remember when I was 19 years old, that moment of the new year was very special. At like this moment, I have to go to the centre of city, joining the people who come for new year celebration from various villages.

With the clock striking 12 am on the 31st December, we start expressing joy and happiness to welcome new year. We convey new year wishes not only to our loved ones but to every person to meet on this eve. Make our new year wishing in unique way by sending quotes, proverbs and poems to all our near and dear ones. So happy new year 2012 to all !

MHS Islamic Boarding School

Babakan Ciwaringin is small village in West Java Indonesia, located on the border between Cirebon district dan Majalengka. It is one of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Founded by the great scholar Ki Jatira (KH. Hasanuddin) who lived in the Holland colonial period.

It has more than six thousand students male and female. Recently it is famous as the oldest and biggest Islamic boarding school in West Java. Its education system adopts a combination between traditional system and modern one.

For example, pesantren Babakan has MHS (an abbrevition of Madrasah Al Hikamus Salafiyah), its student around 1000 at different levels, elementary, secondary and high. and its teacher arround 100 people.

This school was established in sixties by Babakan's scholars like KH. Abdul Hannan, KH. Masduqi Ali, KH. Anwar Fathoni Hannan, KH. Amrin Hannan, KH. Amin Halim and KH. Syaerozi Abdurrohim. They were known as the great founder of MHS.

Iran's Nuclear programme

Among the controversial programmes that each countries should be involved are Iran's nuclear programme. The former Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharrazi stated explicitly in his country's nuclear ambitions: "Iran will develop nuclear power capabilities and this should be recognized by the treaty of international atomic energy agency (IAEA)".

According to the information of Wikipedia, that 9 countries around the world have claimed their nuclear program, one of them is Iran. I am sure that in fact this amount will be even more, there are several countries wich still hold back the programme.

About Iran's nuclear programme, the responsible denies the accusations that it would threaten the stability of world security, saying its nuclear programme is solely for peaceful purposes.

About Marriage Preparation

What to do in preparation for marriage? Is there a special way to relieve nervousness before ceremony of akad nikah (marriage contract)? These are some questions that filled my mind in this week. All this perhaps has a relation with my wedding plan on Sunday 13th November 2011.

Plainly, according to the Islamic teachings that someone who capable of material and spiritual encouraged to marry. So I as a moslem interested to make it happen on my self, I think this desire is always found on all of moslems.

As the preparation, I always ask the others especially who had married to explain everything that has relation with wedding, for example how to express ijab kabul (a consent granted) and when I have to give a ring dowry to my wife. Something like this is extremely risky to be asked, but I have to do it.

Congratulations On Tunisia Revolution

I know well about Republic of Tunisia, it's a small Arabic country, located in north of Africa. This country previously was known as the most secular Arabic countries. "A Tunisian man who has beard is required to report himself to the police once a month, and a Tunisian woman is not allowed to wear hijab while in government offices and educational institutions" described my Tunisian friend, when I was there during 2005 – 2007.

After Jasmine revolution in the beginning of 2011 that has made Ben Ali -as the President- stepped down, the condition drastically has changed. Recently, Tunisian people have found their freedom, many of opposition leaders abroad returned to the country and working in the political field, such as Rachid Ghannouchi the leader of moderate islamist party Ennahda wich won on the early general election.

After all, congratulations on Jasmine revolution that has made Tunisia as the beginner of the revolution in Arabic countries, and has provided the opportunity to conduct a free and fair election.

Gaddafi Is Dead

Moammar Gaddafi a former leader of Libya was dead, shotted by Libyan National Transition Council (NTC), in his home town Sirte, Tuesday October 20. "exactly I was very surprised by the information".

The American comedian commented about this incident: "Lunch with Gadhafi cancelled" quoted from USmagazine, Friday, October 21. In the other side, the secretary general of International Conference Of Islamic Scholars, KH Hasyim Muzadi said: "After Gadhafi dead, condition of Libya will like Irak".

Whatever, the important thing is the Libyan people's welfare. So we don't have to judge anyone. Let the people of Libya to start their new life.

Preparing For Joining The Islamic Studies Conference 2011

This is about one of my daily acitivities, before becoming a lecturer. When firstly I meet several profesors form different universities around Indonesia. They urged me to join an intelectual program, its name is Annual Conference On Islamic Studies (ACIS). "Each years we always hold the conference on this topic", said the chairman of executive committee.

I have invited to participate at this event as a moderator of its discussion. Really, I am very pleased, because it's the first time for me joining the conference in Indonesia, after I was out of country for several years. "You have to prepare everything that has relation with the program, don't forget read some books on Islamic studies", advice from one of profesors.

According to the schedule, the conference will be held on 10 – 13th October, its place in Bangka Belitung province, about fifty minutes by plane from the capital Jakarta. "your ticket plane is will be prepared by the transportation committee" cleared one of the organizers.

In addition joining the conference, my purpose there also for visiting some good places, "I like visiting historic places and beautiful areas" I said to my friend.

Improving Our Lives by Reading and Writing

Many of scholars dedicated their life to obsereving of a phenomenas that show in this world. Part of them has interesting in socials and Humanisms studies, as such Ibn. Khaldun who has been concentrated for long time in the filed of Sociology. Ibn. Bathutah who took a special journey around the world and tried to writing all of his experiences in a book. Or as such al Ghazali who has been dedicated in a relegius affairs, he was labeled - by his book - as the great moslem scholar.

Today the reality of human being is not different, we easly find the intellectual communities around the world. Their time is allocated to get studies of human being problematic and try to get its solutions. we hope that will be continue as long as this life in the world, that means part of us still has hoping and wishing to improve our life. By this side, I prefer to read all of their studying and observing, and to be aplicated by the institutions and persons wich has possibility to excecuting it.

Invitation To Book Launch Party

The Artist community student or KSS held a ceremony of novel book launch, writed by a famous author from Tasikmalaya Mr. Acep Zamzam Noor. It was on Octobre 2 (Sunday) in grand hall of Al Hikamus Salafiyah Islamic boarding school Babakan Ciwaringin. "more than 40 people who joined the program" Said Baequni the responsible of KSS.

At the same moment, the KSS also held a writing training for students and public who living in Cirebon and surrounding areas. Come as a presentator Lan Fang a famous novelist from Surabaya. "I am so proud of the traditional students, because they have a remarkable ability in reading and writing" cleared Lan Fang when she closed the presentation.

As the audience, I felt enjoy, it actually gave me many of informations and experiences, such as how to write a poetry, a novel or preparing papers. In the and of the ceremony, the responsibilities gave all of the audiences an opportunity for asking about the topic and taking photo with the presentators.

My Village is Very Beautiful

I am living in a small village, its name is Babakan, located in middle town named Cirebon, administratively part of west Java province, about 219 kilo meters from the capital Jakarta. I was born there thirty years ago, my parents were farmer, they had several hectare of land and fileds. Up to now, my village is well-known by farmer families. If my friends come here to visit me for several days, I ussualy bring them to climb mountain of Cupang, about half an hour by motorcyicle or small car form my home "it's not so far". Located south of the village, it has an interesting scenery and green forest. All visitors were surprised when they were on the top of the mountain, they will say: "it's very amazing !", let's visit it...

Between the last and beginning

April of 2007 is the first month that I was be a part of Morocco’s residents. Before that time, I stayed in Republic of Tunisia about 2 years, between 2005 and 2007, where I was be student in the faculty of Islamic studies Ezzitouna Universty.

And right know, I’ll complete my second year of stying in Morocco, but for my study, it is still in the beginng of the second year. Because I was registered in faculty of literature and humanism University of Mohammed V Rabat in December of 2007.

That means, I have an other year to complete my study, so during these times, I mean the first of two years, I was feeling in a great condition and good situation, essepecialy when I received in “Cite International” for stranger student in Morocco.

To destroy face of Islam

In the name of Islam, anyone will success to build any opinion about Islam, good or bed, positive or negative. Meanwhile in beginning of 21'th centuries the issue of terrorism was be an evectif weapon toward moslem community, actually after the tragedy of 11'th September 2001.

By this side, we shall present several questions and we also must take honest strip to answer it. Here may we ask; who is the true actors behind the big tragedy who broked America’s security? Until now we are hesitant that Osama ben Laden and his group are the mind of actors, although US goverenment decides it

I’ll take a simple conclusion in this case, that the media was take significant influence to build any opinion. We don’t be hurried in accepting or rejecting some news from electronic or publishied medias, but we must choose the really news, esepecially in Islamic discourse. So after we knew this reality, we must decide that Islam was target for part of non moslem communities in their purposes.

Today is 4th (Thursday) April 2008, i decide to write something by English. I think many of Indonesian people had good views about religion, social, economic, politic, education, culture, or technology. Since a lot of time, right now and until future days, they are interesting to research these problems.
